A dated discharge tied to the correct sentence is stronger historical evidence than an inactive label by itself. A person may be outside prison but remain active on parole or probation. Projected release, parole eligibility, and discharge are different dates. ODOC also warns that its public database is abbreviated and not a certified explanation of the sentence or time served.
